Hanita Dagan, a Registered Psychologist (1983), is a member of the Psychologists Association of Alberta, the College of Alberta Psychologists and the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts. She is an approved supervisor and clinical member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy, as well as a Registered Parenting Coordinator and Arbitrator with the Alberta Family Mediation Society.
For over a decade, she was a psychologist at an internationally renowned psychology clinic, receiving specialized training from some of the world's most eminent therapists.
Subsequently, she was the chief psychologist at an Edmonton treatment center, directing the assessment and treatment of adolescents and their families.
In her independent practice, Hanita brings to Fong Ailon her extensive experience working with individuals, couples and families. As a registered marriage and family therapist and supervisor, Hanita has a special interest in relationships which has led her to focus on high conflict families utilizing mediation and parenting coordination, as well as counseling for relationship issues, depression, and anxiety related concerns.
As an assessor Hanita has comprehensive expertise conducting parenting assessments for custody and access, risk assessments, as well as the assessment of the psychological impact of personal injury.
Hanita has been called to the Provincial Court of Alberta, family and youth division as an expert witness.
She has lectured at the university level, and is involved in post graduate teaching and training.
Hanita is an active member of the Calgary community, and has held numerous positions including that of past president on a number of charitable organization boards.
